Hey there! My name is Emily Halseth and I am the Membership Coordinator for Freewater Fitness. I began my journey here back in August of 2017 as one of the first members to join the gym. I loved the friendly atmosphere and really felt at home for the first time ever in the gym. One year later in August 2018 I joined the team. I love welcoming new members into our gym and helping them begin their journeys with fitness. I have two boys that often help out with towels and watering the flowers! My favorite piece of equipment at the gym is the rowing machine!
Norm Saager is the founder and owner of Freewater Fitness. He started this gym in Milton-Freewater five years ago to answer a need for the citizens of the community. The long drives to and from Walla Walla makes it difficult and expensive to workout. Also, seniors need a safe facility, protected from the elements that caters to their general fitness needs.
Dr. Saager is a lifelong fitness fanatic— bike riding, skiing, hiking, kayaking, pickle balling and gardening. He loves the Northwest and all the recreation it affords. He loves the community— striving to make it a better place to live, raise a family, work out and retire.
